Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to lead the FBM Missile Flight Sciences Analysis Integration Team. This lead will ensure seamless integration between the Flight Sciences Organization and multiple FBM Programs, including the Common Missile Compartment, Life Extension 2, Reentry Payload Integration, and Deployed Systems Support Programs. The successful candidate will often act as standing deputy and technical assistant to the Flight Sciences Senior Manager.
Your focus area will be Flight Sciences Analysis Integration. You will be a liaison between the Flight Sciences team and the program and customer. You will be responsible for integrating test data needs for analysis as well as Modeling and Simulation conclusions with System Requirements, Verification, and Design Development. You will be responsible for fielding technical questions from and preparing presentations for the Navy customer and upper level management.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of and/or experience in Modeling and Simulation and/or Physics based analysis
- Ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders while building solid relationships with team members
- Strong presentation skills; capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge, translating highly technical topics into easy to understand presentations
- Experience and mastery of one or more Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions at the enterprise level, including:
a.) Enterprise-level trade studies and/or enterprise architecture modeling
b.) Mission-level requirements analysis and definition of top-level interfaces among majorsystem components
c.) Integration, Test and/or Verification of requirements across major interfaces
d.) Verification/ validation planning and execution with an understanding of all theinterdependencies
e.) Design reviews/ control gates - US Citizenship required with active or current Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

- Experience as a technical lead of a team of at least 3-5 people

- Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
- Experience with mission-level/ enterprise architecture analysis, development, integration, V&V,with broad based and in-depth knowledge of multiple functional complex systems and their interactions to meet mission needs
- Missile, space, or ground segment design and/or V&V experience with one or more systems orfields outside of Systems Engineering
- Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of sophisticated system products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
- Ability to interact with system/ segment developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
- Active Top Secret clearance
