ABOUT THE TEAM
The Factory Services team is part of the Shared Services, Systems & Infrastructure (3SI) organization within the Maritime Division. This team owns the technical shared services that every production business line depends on - machining, hydrostatic testing, tooling, 3D printing, and calibration. As the site scales from a single product line to multiple business lines operating under one roof, the demand on these shared resources will grow significantly. This team ensures that every business line gets the technical support it needs, when it needs it, without bottlenecks or conflicts slowing production.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for aSenior Factory Services Supervisor to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for standing up and leading the technical shared services function at our multi-product manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and prioritization of all shared technical resources - including the machine room, hydrostatic test chamber, tooling room, and 3D printing capabilities. Your first priority will be designing and implementing a scheduling methodology that ensures fair, transparent, and efficient allocation of these shared resources across multiple business lines. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of manufacturing support services who over-indexes on communication and cross-functional coordination. You will be the person in the middle when two business lines need the same resource at the same time, and you need to be the type of leader who can navigate those conversations, build trust with production stakeholders, and keep the site running smoothly. If you thrive in environments where you are building processes from scratch, managing competing priorities, and serving as the operational backbone for production teams, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
US Salary Range
$86,000 - $112,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
