Job Description

Endurion is seeking a UxS Technician to support operations in complex, high risk environments which require expertise in unmanned systems and technology integration.

Education/Experience requirements:
• B.S in Electrical Engineering or Technician in an applicable engineering or science field.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on professional experience OR 7 years of experience without degree.
• FAA Part 107 Certification, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Extensive knowledge in BetaFlight, Ardu Pilot, and PX4 (minimum of 5 years experience).
• Extensive knowledge or hands on experience building drones (minimum of 5 years experience).
• Knowledgeable in electronic propulsion and combustible power systems (minimum of 5 years experience).
• Proficient in building, testing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assemblies. This includes knowledge of analog and digital circuits, AC/DC electronics and the ability to use test equipment, such as a multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable selecting electronic parts and sensors.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with louse noises and power tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Adept with power and hand tools for assembly and repairs.
• Proficient using computer aided design (CAD) software for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing.
• Hands on experience using various 3D printing technologies, such as FDM, SLS, and SLA and strong understanding in selecting materials.
• Skilled in soldering and de-soldering electrical components, including surface mounted devices (SMD) and various sensors.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues and conduct repairs using technical manuals. This includes hardware assembly, troubleshooting common error messages, and primary/secondary/servicing.
• Familiar with C, C++, and Python. Ability to use developmental tools, including Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), compilers, and hardware debuggers, to compile firmware or troubleshoot low-level issues.
