GS-07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assisting with conducting quality assurance field inspections for facility construction related services to ensure technical adequacy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency of the finished product or services; AND 2) Gathering construction facility information in a field environment to provide weekly status reports; AND Identifying failed or failing facility components to submit work order requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-06.

Additional information
- Prepare detailed Independent Government Estimates (IGE) to include labor, materials and equipment from project plans and detailed specifications for the construction, maintenance, and repair of installation facilities.
- Coordinate issues between contractor, customer, Architecture/Engineering firms, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), the garrison, service providers and DPW.
- Initiate and conduct administrative inspections and modifications necessary to complete projects.
- Prepare detailed Independent Government Estimates (IGE) to include labor, materials and equipment from project plans and detailed specifications for the construction, maintenance, and repair of installation facilities or services.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires that the employee successfully completes the required Contracting Officer Representative (COR) training within 6 months and maintain COR certification.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
