Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performing web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
- Develop and integrate front-end and back-end components utilizing Java, Python, C#, .NET, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and integrate applications leveraging generative AI capabilities to enhance automation and user experience.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver complete end-to-end application solutions.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices to support secure, automated deployments and continuous delivery.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve application issues to ensure scalability, reliability, and usability.
- Develop and deploy applications within cloud environments including Azure and AWS.
- Provide architectural and design recommendations aligned with current and future system requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions to support continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop solutions to support mission objectives.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native services.
- Experience building or integrating applications with generative AI capabilities.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, .NET, React, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience within an Agile Scrum environment.
- Understanding of Git, CI/CD, automated deployments, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience translating client requirements into automation and application solutions.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Azure or AWS developer certification.
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.
