Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in Google Distributed Cloud (GDC)
- Strong background in DevOps and Platform Engineering
- Experience with GitOps and CI/CD Deployment Pipelines
- Expertise in OS Imaging and Baseline Configuration
- Experience in Hardened Infrastructure Environments
- Ability to work in Air-Gapped / Disconnected Environments
- Experience with Virtualized Sandbox Environments
- Software Packaging and Deployment skills
- Configuration Management capabilities
- Network and Infrastructure Validation skills
- Experience with Deployment Promotion Controls
- Active Canadian Secret Clearance is mandatory
- Prior work experience in the client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting deployment and platform-related issues
- Ability to collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and DevOps teams
- Experience in maintaining technical documentation and configuration records
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and deploy OS images and baseline system configurations
- Develop and maintain hardened operating system environments
- Design, implement, and manage GitOps deployment pipelines
- Support deployment processes within virtual and air-gapped sandbox environments
- Package, validate, and manage software movement through the deployment ingestion path
- Support software deployment into the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) enclave
- Validate OS and image baselines prior to deployment
- Review and validate configuration evidence to ensure environments meet required standards
- Validate network assumptions and dependencies for platform readiness
- Support preparation and validation activities for interoperability test windows
- Ensure deployment processes follow secure and controlled DevOps practices
