Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of information security principles, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information assurance strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on security controls
• Review and evaluate security architectures and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards
• Mentor and train junior security professionals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information assurance and security
• In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, ISO/IEC 27001, and other security frameworks
• Experience with classified information and systems
• Strong understanding of cyber threat landscapes and mitigation strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience working with federal agencies or defense contractors
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM
