Credence has an immediate need for a self-motivated Test and Evaluation Engineer II to support the development, testing, analysis, and evaluation of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) products, supported clients, and platform integrations for the Department of Defense. The successful candidate will help develop classified and unclassified test programs, plans, and procedures; conduct laboratory and field testing; analyze system-performance data using MATLAB and/or Python; and document results through technical reports and briefings. This position requires close coordination with Government personnel, engineers, analysts, integrated product teams, and other program stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to ...
  • Develop, review, and execute classified and unclassified test programs, plans, procedures, and related documentation
  • Conduct testing and evaluate results for PNT products, supported clients, and platform integrations
  • Use MATLAB, Python, and other data-analysis tools to perform detailed system-performance analysis
  • Collect, process, validate, and interpret test data to confirm that equipment is operating correctly and capturing the required information.
  • Produce rapid, preliminary assessments-or "quick looks"-during local and field test events
  • Identify test anomalies and prepare Test Incident Reports (TIRs) as part of data-analysis and post-processing activities
  • Support TIR reviews by providing data-driven analysis and recommendations to inform incident disposition and closure
  • Contribute technical insights and recommendations to the design and improvement of data-analysis tools
  • Support hardware and software component, subsystem, system-level development, compatibility, acceptance, functional, integration, qualification, field, environmental, and stress-screening tests
  • Support cybersecurity, electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic compatibility, and TEMPEST-related test activities
  • Develop, review, coordinate, and staff test documentation, including:
    • Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs)
    • Test Readiness Review (TRR) briefings
    • Test plans and procedures
    • Test reports, findings, and results
  • Prepare classified and unclassified technical briefings, program updates, reports, and other deliverables
  • Participate in technical and program reviews, including System Requirements Reviews, System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Test Readiness Reviews
  • Participate in integrated product teams (IPTs), working groups, and other technical forums
  • Provide input to integrated master schedules, risk-management activities, and budgeting processes
  • Assist in drafting Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, performance specifications, and supporting solicitation documents.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance during proposal evaluations.
  • Support local and field test events and assist with test-related system integration activities
  • Attend classified meetings at the Secret and Top Secret levels, as required


Requirements

  • Top secret security clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least three (3) years of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products; or Master's degree in engineering and at least one (1) year of experience testing Department of Defense systems or products
  • Experience using MATLAB and/or Python for scripting, data processing, visualization, or technical analysis


Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
