Credence has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer II to support Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) products and the technical performance of the CMFF program. This position provides systems engineering, risk management, configuration management, integrated scheduling, and program management support throughout the system development life cycle. The Systems Engineer will work with government clients, product teams, platform representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop technical solutions, manage requirements, assess program performance, and support the integration of classified and unclassified PNT capabilities on Army platforms.

Salary Range: $105,000.00 to $145,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.

The Systems Engineer will work with government clients, product teams, platform representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop technical solutions, manage requirements, assess program performance, and support the integration of classified and unclassified PNT capabilities on Army platforms.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, maintain, and update systems engineering processes and documentation, including:
- Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs)
- Configuration Management Plans
- Risk Management Plans
- Integrated Master Plans and Schedules
- Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products
- Support the management of technical performance for the CMFF program, including requirements decomposition, software-intensive system management, system-of-systems integration planning, and Agile software development planning
- Perform requirements analysis, development, derivation, documentation, allocation, and traceability
- Support concept development, sensor and system design, system architecture, modeling and simulation, and hardware, software, and network integration
- Plan and support host-platform integration, test and evaluation, hardware and software validation, experimentation, and field demonstrations
- Identify, document, assess, and manage technical and programmatic risks
- Create, review, and revise engineering and acquisition documentation required to support program milestones.
- Attend and support program reviews, including:
- Software Specification Reviews (SSRs)
- System Requirements Reviews (SRRs)
- System Functional Reviews (SFRs)
- Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs)
- Critical Design Reviews (CDRs)
- Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs)
- Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs)
- Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
- Participate in pre- and post-review activities, Integrated Product Team meetings, working groups, and engineering meetings
- Assess vendor progress and provide the Assistant Product Manager with recommendations for resolving technical issues
- Interface with external stakeholder organizations contributing to the program's system-of-systems approach
- Evaluate integration, interoperability, sustainment, operational benefits and constraints, and DOTMLPF impacts for PNT products integrated with Army platforms.
- Apply DoD guidance, regulations, and the systems engineering principles of IEEE Standard 1220.
- Identify and assess improvements to existing products, applications, requirements, and materiel solutions
- Evaluate emerging PNT and augmentation technologies, strategies, tactics, and training across all phases of the program life cycle
- Help ensure proposed systems are technically achievable within established cost and schedule objectives
- Review acquisition documentation and provide recommendations for staffing through PM PNT leadership
- Support the development of Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, performance specifications, and related solicitation documents
- Provide technical advice and assistance during proposal evaluations.
- Review technical data artifacts for completeness and acceptability, ensuring that product-to-data relationships are maintained
- Establish and maintain databases used to develop and track PNT requirements, product planning activities, systems engineering data, and configuration-management information
- Update program documentation, briefings, and presentations to reflect current technical information, decisions, and strategies
Requirements
- Active DoD secret security clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Systems Engineering and at least three years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD systems; orMaster's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline and at least one year of systems engineering experience supporting DoD systems
- Experience developing or maintaining systems engineering plans, requirements documentation, risk-management artifacts, or configuration-management documentation
- Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle, including requirements, architecture, integration, verification, validation, and test and evaluation
- Ability to evaluate complex technical information and communicate clear recommendations to technical and program leadership
- Strong written, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
