SABG is hiring an Operations Research and Logistics Analyst to support the SEW II contract with the HQ Combat Forces Command (CFC).
JOB TITLE: Space Electromagnetic Warfare Operations Research and Logistics Analyst (SME)
CLEARANCE: An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, Colorado

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Familiarity with government electronic staffing and task management systems (such as the Task Management Tool (TMT)).
• Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficiency in operating secure and unsecure Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and virtual meeting software (such as MS Teams).

- Analyze and recommend changes to CFC for Space Control, SDA, and C2 logistics priorities
- Review CAN logistics/sustainment needs & develop acquisition strategies that satisfy capability gaps
- Review and coordinate on CFSPs to ensure requirements are identified and consistent with a Family of Systems (FoS) approach
- Identify logistics support requirements and provide analysis on potential impacts to current/future logistics infrastructure, strategies, and proposed best commercial practices
- Develop initial RMA requirements and analysis for inclusion into the ICD. Update RMA analysis for inclusion in the CCD as systems progress through the acquisition life cycle
- Identify new WSS brochures/requirements needed to ensure future systems receive adequate weapon system sustainment funding across the FYDP
- Review/update maintenance training requirements and the TSRA for inclusion in the STP.
- Identify/update logistics support requirements captured in the LCSP for inclusion in the operating concept. Update logistics support requirements in conjunction with CDD, ensuring support strategies comply with the LCSP and current operating concepts.
- Manage Space Control, Range, and C2 system TO development utilizing COTS manuals
- Review and provide input on Turn Over Agreements, Ops Acceptance, and IOC/FOC declarations, test/evaluation plans, system specifications, ISP (to include System Disposal Planning), cost analysis, legal reviews or frequency allocation applications, mission protection, security planning, and Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) as required for PoRs.
- Evaluate and validate that system-level requirements meet basic system design requirements from the ICD, CDD, and Field Command guidance. Validate that commercial vendor-developed Logistics Management Information (LMI) matches requirements stated in the CDD and TRD.
- Sustainment & Upgrades: Analyze system support needs for sustainment requirements for one-time delivery systems and systems that are incrementally/spirally upgraded and provide SOP with upgrade priorities. Review/verify logistics criteria are met for declaration of IOC/FOC.
- Review and recommend changes to the Joint Reliability Maintainability Evaluation Team plan if AFOTEC is the test agency. Attend acquisition provisioning conferences and meetings (approximately 6 annually).
- Review and make recommendations to system decommissioning plans, redistribution plans, and disposition instructions.
- Identify, develop, document, and review sparing strategies, maintenance strategies, and TO requirements for Rapid Acquisitions.
- Review and evaluate technical trade studies (ISPs, LCSPs, Configuration Management and Control Documentation, Deficiency Reporting documentation, and reports and system specifications for impacts to reliability, availability, maintainability, and logistics life-cycle costs).
- Organize, administer, and attend monthly CRB and DRB processes.
- Create presentations at multiple security levels and assist in the development and presentation of decision briefs at Senior Leader forums.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of Logistics experience, including 6+ years with any DoD military service HQ Staff providing logistics support to fielded operational weapon systems
- Experience working in a classified (SAP/SAR) space environment
- Experience with total life-cycle logistics support (logistics requirements for acquisition, major and rapid, DoD weapon system/support equipment sustainment, disposition of military equipment)
- Level 1 or 2 military maintenance management experience using technical publications to perform maintenance actions
- Experience providing logistics support for electromagnetic warfare weapon systems
- Experience in communications-electronics maintenance within any DoD military service
- Experience with Weapon System Sustainment funding requirements and oversight
