Position Overview
The Director of Growth Operations and Strategic Development is a hands-on leader responsible for driving Allyon's growth across federal, defense, commercial, and healthcare staffing markets. This role is broader than traditional government contracting business development: it combines pipeline execution, capture leadership, field engagement, partner management, and growth operations. The Director will also generate new business for MedAllyon's healthcare staffing solutions and help build the operating systems & processes needed to support scalable growth.
This position is integral to Allyon's evolution from a staffing centric company to a trusted prime contractor, technology solutions partner, and diversified growth platform.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy, Pipeline Execution & Market Expansion
- Execute the growth pipeline: identify, qualify, prioritize, and advance opportunities across target markets.
- Provide accurate pipeline reporting, forecasts, and win/loss analysis.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments.
- Support the company's shift from staff augmentation to prime contracting by positioning Allyon's capabilities and value propositions.
Field Engagement & Internal Opportunity Development
- Maintain strong relationships with field employees, operations, recruiting, and leadership to uncover new opportunities and expansion potential.
- Translate delivery insights and customer feedback into actionable growth strategies.
- Help build repeatable processes for capturing and acting on internal opportunity intelligence.
Capture, Proposal & RFI Leadership
- Lead capture from identification through submission and award.
- Oversee development of proposals, RFIs, sources sought responses, white papers, and other pursuit materials.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned with Allyon's strengths.
Customer, Partner & Industry Engagement
- Represent Allyon and MedAllyon with customers, partners, and industry organizations.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and matchmaking engagements; convert interactions into pipeline activity.
- Build and maintain customer and partner relationships that expand Allyon's reach.
Growth Operations, Governance & Vendor Management
- Manage external growth vendors and hold them accountable for results.
- Oversee approved win pool policies and related incentive processes.
- Ensure CRM accuracy, opportunity documentation, reporting, and governance.
- Help mature Allyon's growth systems, tools, and operational rhythms.
MedAllyon Growth
- Develop new business opportunities for MedAllyon across government, commercial, and healthcare markets.
- Align growth efforts with MedAllyon delivery teams and market needs.
- Support pipeline development, proposals, customer engagement, and strategic alignment across Allyon and MedAllyon.
Internal Collaboration, Culture & Leadership
- Contribute as a collaborative and trusted member of the Allyon team.
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to building processes and solving problems.
- M aintain strong cross functional relationships and model accountability, curiosity, adaptability, and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 8-12+ years in BD, growth operations, capture, strategic development, GovCon, healthcare staffing, or professional services.
- Proven ability to shape and win new business opportunities.
- Experience with federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS), capture planning, teaming, and proposal development.
- Experience working in a growth stage or evolving organization.
- Ability to work effectively with field employees, operations, executives, customers, partners, and vendors.
- Knowledge of staffing, IT, cybersecurity, systems engineering, mission support, and/or healthcare staffing preferred.
