Senior VMware NSX Architect/Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior VMware NSX Architect/Engineer with deep expertise in VMware NSX-T, cloud networking, multi-tenancy, and network virtualization. This role requires an advanced-level professional capable of designing, implementing, and supporting complex NSX environments that serve as the foundation of a large-scale enterprise cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong architecture, troubleshooting, automation, and integration experience, with the ability to support mission-critical networking and security services across multi-site cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex VMware NSX-T environments.
- Lead architecture and engineering efforts for enterprise-scale cloud and multi-tenant network infrastructures.
- Develop and implement advanced networking and security solutions including micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex NSX infrastructure issues across management, control, and data planes.
- Design and support multi-site NSX deployments, federation, and disaster recovery architectures.
- Integrate NSX with VMware ecosystem products and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to optimize network services.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency.
- Provide architectural guidance, operational support, and best practices for NSX platform enhancements.


Required Qualifications
- Advanced VMware NSX expertise equivalent to a Level 4-5 Engineer/Architect.
- Extensive hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T Data Center.
- Strong experience supporting cloud-based and multi-tenant environments.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing large-scale, complex NSX architectures.
- Advanced troubleshooting experience across NSX infrastructure and network virtualization platforms.
- Experience integrating NSX with third-party tools and VMware product suites.
- Strong automation and scripting capabilities.
- Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts and security frameworks.
