Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in thermal analysis to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing thermal systems to ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency across our products and projects.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform detailed thermal modeling, simulation, and analysis for mechanical systems and components.

  • Develop and validate thermal management solutions for electronics, mechanical assemblies, and high-performance systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal considerations into product design from concept to production.

  • Conduct experimental testing to verify thermal performance and correlate with analytical models.

  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master\'s preferred) with a focus on thermal sciences, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics.

  • 8+ years of experience in thermal analysis and design (Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, or related industries preferred).

  • Proficiency in thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM, COMSOL, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of heat transfer principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.

  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with electronics cooling and thermal interface materials.

  • Familiarity with environmental testing standards and thermal cycling.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection for thermal performance.

  • DoD Secret Clearance

How You Will Be Rewarded


The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000.00 per year. We offer a comprehensive total rewards approach to compensation, providing incentives and benefits that extend far beyond the base salary.
