Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB.
- Collaborate with government and contractor teams to ensure successful program execution.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Participate in requirements gathering, system design, and development activities.
- Support system integration and testing efforts.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with systems engineering methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Security clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with specific technologies or systems relevant to the TAAS program.
- Prior experience working on defense contracts or with government agencies.
