We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Network Communications and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (NC3I) and Space Mission Area Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our customer's mission by providing expert guidance, technical leadership, and innovative solutions in the NC3I and Space domains.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary technical expert and advisor on NC3I and Space systems, architectures, and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, interface control documents, and operational concept documents.
- Lead and participate in technical working groups, design reviews, and trade studies to ensure optimal system performance and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NC3I and Space capabilities into broader system solutions.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in NC3I and Space to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Support customer requirements and evaluations, including proposal development and technical solution presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in NC3I and/or Space systems engineering, with a strong focus on architecture development and system integration.
- Demonstrated expertise in network communications, command and control systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, and space-based systems.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles, including requirements analysis, trade studies, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific customer programs or mission areas is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices in NC3I and Space environments.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Experience in developing and executing test and evaluation plans for complex systems.
