Abacus Technology is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support security and information assurance activities for Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for security and information assurance activities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security measures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure security best practices are followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information systems security.
- Experience with security tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD security requirements.
- Knowledge of NIST standards and guidelines.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SSCP.
