As a Release Train Engineer you will:
- Support Agile increment and events (program increment pre-planning, program increment planning and program demonstration)
- Maintain cadence across the Agile Release Train (ART)
- Facilitate all ART ceremonies to include: Program increment planning (PI) events, program demonstrations, program retrospectives, Scrum of Scrum (SoS) meetings
- Gather and report on ART metrics
- Document results of program demos on confluence
- Document completion of Program Epics in Jira
- Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risks, and drive relentless improvement
- Ensure completion of User Stories from development teams including needed reviews / approvals occur
- Support functional management for assigned staff
Basic Qualifications
- Prior experience as an RTE
- US Citizenship required. Final secret clearance required to start the role .
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with military SATCOM systems and secure communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), particularly in secure, high-performance applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
