Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reviews and apply accurate labels to materials, bins, and shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or electronic systems
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with team leads and supervisors to ensure timely material availability
- Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices to prevent material degradation and all materials are properly identified and traceable
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements and generate and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production, training, or other departments
- Support kitting operations by assembling and verifying kit contents
- Perform duties of Material Handling Laborers as needed, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with SOPs, WIs, and regulatory standards
- Report safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations promptly
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow all safety and conduct rules, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in government or defense-related logistics support
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to safely operate mid-riders, pallet jacks and/ or other similar MHE devices
