Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Government & Capital Property Manager to support the team in Huntsville, AL.
Position Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees who develop, coordinate and implement property management and control activities
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with materials management
- 3+ years of building stakeholder and customer relationships
- Experience interfacing and dealing directly with government customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :
- 1+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
- 1+ years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts
- 1+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
- Experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal development
- Professional certification issues by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
- Experience with GOLD Property Management Systems or similar system
