What We’re Looking For:
Iridium is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate to join our Materials and Inventory Analysis team. In this role, you will ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient flow of materials through the warehouse while supporting inventory accuracy, government-regulated property control activities, and daily warehouse operations. You'll bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, organized approach to supporting a fast-paced logistics environment.

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.

Base Pay Range: $58,000 - $73,000 USD
Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors and this range represents an estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Base salary is only one part of our compensation package for this role. You may also be eligible for company stock and annual bonus. Iridium is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate to join our Materials and Inventory Analysis team. In this role, you will ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient flow of materials through the warehouse while supporting inventory accuracy, government-regulated property control activities, and daily warehouse operations. You'll bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive, organized approach to supporting a fast-paced logistics environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and government property control standards.
- Receive and verify incoming materials by comparing purchase orders, packing lists, and delivered goods, documenting discrepancies or damaged items.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliations, Kanban replenishment, inventory control activities, and property documentation.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities while maintaining complete logistics and inventory records.
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits involving government-owned assets and inventory compliance.
- Support multiple warehouse functions based on operational priorities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, kitting, equipment testing, upgrades, and repackaging.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory and materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory shortages, material issues, and operational challenges.
- Identify operational issues and recommend or implement process improvements, new tools, and system enhancements that improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 4+ years’ experience working in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience supporting government property compliance, contract requirements, and audit activities
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft SharePoint
- Possess and maintain certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air
- An active forklift certification or ability to obtain through on-the-job certification
- Experience with:
- Shipping and receiving procedures in a large warehouse or manufacturing facility
- Material control and purchase ordering systems
- ERP system/material planning systems
- Substantial knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar ERP systems
- Commitment to safety standards and regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with others and accept feedback to continuously improve
- Skilled at collaborating across multiple teams and departments
- Capable of exercising sound judgment and discretion when problem solving

- APICS Certification
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
We’ll also need you to:
- This role requires access to export-controlled technologies; candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Confidential security clearance
- Be able to travel up to 5%
