Data Machines is seeking talented, tenacious, and highly motivated individuals with service desk experience to provide front-line user support in an on-site environment. Three (3) positions will be filled through this job requisition.
Data Machines is participating in the deployment of an advanced platform environment for creating and harnessing leading-edge cyber operations capabilities. The platform will be distributed across locations, organizations, and security domains. This role will involve engagement with many stakeholders beyond Data Machines, including peer organizations and government project sponsors.
Individuals joining this team will help enable hundreds of highly technical developers to achieve mission success in support of a critical national security need. Successful applicants will be comfortable working directly with operators, users, and stakeholders in a dynamic technical environment.
Prior to obtaining the required clearance, this is an on-site hybrid position requiring approximately one to two days per week in the Data Machines office in Reston, VA. Once cleared and read on to the program, the position will be on-site at a client location in Arlington, VA five days per week.
Schedule and Coverage: The position may transition to a shift-based schedule based on program and operational coverage requirements. Candidates should be prepared for assigned coverage hours within the 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) timeframe. Specific schedules and shift assignments will be determined based on mission and staffing needs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience conducting face-to-face Tier 1 user support
- Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent)
- Experience using ServiceNow, Remedy, or a similar ticketing system
- Comfortable using multiple communication channels-including email, ticketing, chat, and conferencing-to assist users
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory networks and associated services, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Distributed File System
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
- Previous experience providing user support in a highly dynamic, innovation-driven environment with constantly changing requirements
- Previous experience with Linux operating systems and deploying Linux virtual machines
- Interest in and willingness to expand software development and system operations skills and responsibilities
- Previous experience providing user support within a Microsoft Cloud and/or Azure Government environment
- Familiarity with administering Azure Cloud resources, including virtual machines, virtual networks, blob storage, and secrets management
