OPFOR Assistant Team Lead

Valiant is looking for a OPFOR Assistant Team Lead to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train, Coach, and Supervisor Rotational Training Unit (RTU) personnel and newly assigned personnel in the use and execution of a WARSIM Battle Space Workstation (BSWS) and/or follow-on fielded constructive simulations.
• Familiarity with Army C2/Mission Command systems. Focus on continuous learning of emerging C2 systems and technology as required.
• Work closely with Scenario Integrators and Data Base personnel in order to facilitate training scenarios, and system files used in support of Unit Training Events.
• Coordinate and work closely with JRTC Observer Controller Trainers (OCTs) in the execution of Unit Training Events.
• Assist the Opposing Forces Team in the development of OPFOR operational plans using current and emerging doctrine and tactics.
• Supervise up to 4 additional OPFOR team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years in combat, combat support, combat service and support units or comparable experience.
• 1+ years of experience executing constructive exercises at the BCT level or higher.
• Familiar with BSWS maneuver operations.
• Former Sergeant First Class (E-7) or above.
• Experience in a leadership position at Company, Battalion, or Brigade level.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
• Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Battle Staff; CTC OCT experience and recent combat experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job will primarily be in an Office Setting.
