DevSecOps Engineer
Candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
Program Description: We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support and provide expertise to the Analysis and Requirements Directorate to ensure existing and ongoing development and delivery operations successfully automate the integration of required cyber security standards for secure systems and networks.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Integrate security practices into our DevOps pipeline
Ensure the delivery of secure software while maintaining rapid development cycles
Collaborate closely with developers, operations, and security teams to automate security checks, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement proactive security measures across our infrastructure
Required Skills:
BS + 12 years, MS + 10 years (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related
5 years of experience in computer security and/or development operations
Scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Security tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Fortify, Qualys)
Understanding of DevOps principles and practices (CI/CD, containerization, orchestration)
Knowledge of cloud security best practices on major cloud platforms
Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity and Privacy and Risk Management frameworks (NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, ISO27001, HIPPA, SOX, PCI)
