Systems Engineer
Program Description:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and manage Windows-based systems within complex enclave environments. The role focuses on secure, reliable, and interoperable Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, and SQL Server. Responsibilities also include endpoint security using Trellix ePO and certificate/PKI services supporting authentication and secure communications. The environment includes multiple domains and diverse COTS and engineering applications such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, SolidWorks, and MATLAB.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and domain environments
Manage GPOs, security baselines, authentication, replication, and certificate/PKI services
Automate administrative and troubleshooting tasks using PowerShell.
Integrate and support enterprise applications including Exchange, SQL Server, and Citrix.
Maintain endpoint security using Trellix ePO and support vulnerability remediation.
Troubleshoot system, application, authentication, and cross-platform integration issues.
Collaborate with network, security, storage, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues
Support system upgrades, modernization, lifecycle management, and operational sustainment.
Maintain technical documentation and as-built system configurations.
Required Skills:
In depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Group Policy
Understanding of WSUS and third party software patching
Microsoft Exchange knowledge
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Prior experience working in a Citrix environment
