Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the execution of Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineering Support Services. This position supports the Program Manager in coordinating large-scale technical projects, maintaining program controls and dashboards, and serving as a Government-facing point of contact for planning, execution, services, and issue resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee the execution of TACCOM engineering, modernization, operations, and maintenance projects
• Support the planning, scheduling, staffing, and coordination of multiple large-scale technical efforts
• Serve as a point of contact for ICE regarding system planning, design, execution, services, status, and issue resolution
• Assist with contracts management, reporting requirements, leadership liaison, communications, and other technical and administrative functions
• Develop and maintain project schedules, dashboards, performance measures, action-item trackers, risk and issue logs, and program documentation
• Analyze resource allocation, dependencies, workload, cost, schedule, quality, and performance information
• Prepare recurring status reports, executive briefings, meeting materials, and recommendations for Government leadership
• Coordinate across technical teams, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and Government stakeholders
• Ensure program activities and documentation follow applicable ISO 9001, PMI, ITIL, DHS SELC, security, and accessibility requirements
Requirements
• Specific knowledge of tactical communications system implementation
• Demonstrated experience successfully deploying P25 digital, encrypted, interoperable tactical communications systems in support of federal law enforcement
• Active Project Management Institute Project Management Professional certification in good standing
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, staff, and coordinate large-scale technical projects
• Experience developing program dashboards, schedules, reports, and executive-level briefings
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the suitability determination required for work on ICE systems and facilities
• U.S. citizenship required
