Lead Data Systems Developer

About the Opportunity
Alliance Global Group is searching for an experienced Lead Data Systems Developer to join our team in support of AMCOM ALC SCMD requirements at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is contingent upon award. In this role, the Lead Data Systems Developer supports custom software development and integration, contributes to Authority to Operate (ATO) process and system design activities, and serves as the lead for Data Analytics and Modeling. The position oversees descriptive and predictive analytical products, applies advanced data analytics techniques, and mentors junior data analysts supporting Army logistics and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the lead for Data Analytics and Modeling in support of supply chain analysis and decision-making.
• Perform and coordinate custom software development, systems integration, and data systems enhancement activities to support mission requirements.
• Support coding, testing, documentation, and lifecycle development activities for data systems, applications, and analytical tools.
• Support ATO process activities, including system design, documentation, security compliance coordination, and technical input for authorization packages.
• Oversee the development of descriptive and predictive analytics products, including dashboards, models, reports, visualizations, and briefings for supply chain operations.
• Apply data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting, and visualization techniques to identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and comparable analytics platforms to communicate insights to operational managers, technical teams, and senior leaders.
• Mentor junior data analysts by providing technical guidance, reviewing analytical products, and supporting professional development.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• More than seven years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, operations research, statistical analysis, advanced analytics, software-enabled data systems, or a related analytical field.
• More than three years of experience supporting supply chain, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, or related operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience with custom software development, systems integration, data systems design, and technical support for mission or business systems.
• Experience supporting ATO processes, security documentation, system design reviews, or information assurance activities.
• Demonstrated experience with data mining, statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive modeling, forecasting, dashboard development, and advanced data visualization.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Active security clearance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and analytical information into clear, actionable insights.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the technical knowledge necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
• Active Secret Clearance Required
