Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer (Systems Software) SME to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position.
Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges.

Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing solution engineering expertise in infrastructure components, cloud capabilities, and adherence to Agile and DevSecOps procedures within the CASTLE-NET program.
- Supports core IT areas for auto provisioning infrastructure hardware, storage, and networks.
- Supports delivery of services based on an "as-a-Service" model for cost savings, scalability, and ease of implementation.
- Deliver world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support.
- Exceed the expectations of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 IT end-users.
- Deliver vital solutions and strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, IT, or related field and 8 or more years of DevSecOps experience or a related role. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, Associate degree +2 years relevant experience, or 4 years relevant experience is acceptable.
- Possesses excellent understanding of infrastructure components, cloud capabilities, and software-defined practices.
- Proficient and experienced in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, auto provisioning, and automation tools with the ability to design and deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions in an "as-a-Service" model.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Requires strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) and familiarity with the USACE IT environment and SLAs are preferred.
- Familiarity with USACE or other federal agency cloud infrastructures and policies
- Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintains currency with industry trends and best practices.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
