Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. This role requires deep expertise in information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information assurance policies and procedures
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Provide technical guidance and support for security initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other standards
• Develop training materials and conduct security awareness programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information assurance and security
• Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, and other relevant frameworks
• Experience with security tools such as Nessus, Wireshark, and Splunk
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Experience with DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture
