Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph within 7 years to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.
• Utilize Java, Python, Linux/shell, Git, Maven, and LLM tooling for software development and algorithm design.
• Perform processing-intensive analytics and data parsing/transformation on extremely large data sets.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 20+ years
• Total Compensation: $333k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems individually or as part of a collaborative team.
• Conduct requirements analysis and synthesis from system level down to individual software components.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports using development methodologies appropriate to the environment.
• Provide input to system design regarding hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration.
• Apply technical expertise in Java, Python, Bash, Git, Maven, Linux, and LLM tools.
Required Skills:
• Programming: Strong Java, Python developer skills
• Parsing and extraction: Regex/pattern matching, data parsing, and transformation of structured and semi-structured data
• Quality and troubleshooting: Debugging, root cause analysis, unit testing, and regression testing
•Tooling and environment: Git, Maven, Linux/shell, VS Code
• Codebase fluency: Ability to work effectively in large, mature codebases and contribute safely to existing systems
Desired Skills:
• AI-assisted development / LLM tooling: familiarity with coding agents and AI-assisted workflows (eg, Claude Code, reusable skills, prompt-driven automation)
