Position Overview:
Our partner is seeking an Engineering Tech/Staff Analyst to support a high-performing Mission Systems Software team responsible for real-time embedded software supporting mission computer systems.
This position will help manage team operations, program execution, staffing, metrics, process improvement, and coordination across engineering and business functions. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable communicating with engineers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
The role offers opportunities to support Agile and SAFe processes, develop program metrics, coordinate team resources, facilitate meetings, support onboarding activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage Mission Systems Software team infrastructure and support the execution cadence of a high-performing engineering organization.
- Create, integrate, and manage team processes across software teams and cross-functional partners.
- Develop and maintain staffing, efficiency, and software program metrics for management analysis.
- Support Adaptive Planning and other staffing and program planning activities.
- Support the Senior Manager with calendar coordination and program, customer, and team-facing activities.
- Facilitate meetings and coordinate follow-up actions across engineering and leadership teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives and help document team processes within a SAFe/Agile environment.
- Develop and support team recognition, engagement, and cultural initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional organizations on Facility, IT, Security, Supply, and other team requirements.
- Support staffing activities and onboarding for new engineers.
- Track hiring activities, staffing needs, and team seating/resource requirements.
- Prepare status updates, metrics, presentations, and other materials for leadership.
- Interface with management, engineers, and team members to communicate schedule and project status.
- Support Mission Systems Software development activities and program execution as needed.
- Work independently under general supervision and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Associate Level - Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience managing and facilitating meetings.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and leadership.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance and required program access.
Experienced Level - Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of related professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience managing and facilitating meetings.
- Experience presenting information to senior leaders.
- Strong ability to manage team processes, metrics, staffing activities, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a high-performing engineering environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance and required program access.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or other AI-powered office productivity tools.
- Experience with EazyBI.
- Knowledge or experience in the defense or avionics industry.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Knowledge of networking principles.
- Understanding of the levels of rigor required for safety-critical software.
- Experience supporting engineering teams, staffing, program execution, or technical operations.
- Experience with metrics automation, reporting, or process improvement.
