GVI, Inc.seeks aEngineering Technician IIIto provideConfiguration Managementand technical supporton behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport inKeyport, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Receiving Materials:
• Receive email notification or phone call about impending shipment of equipment.
• Stage area for receipt of materials.
• Receive pallets and/or cabinets of miscellaneous Sonar Equipment.
• Transport materials from shipping dock to staged area.
• Unpack, breakdown, and sort pallets of the received materials.
• Ensure that the shipping manifest matches the materials received.
• Conduct security checks on received material, label material with appropriate security markers as checks are completed.
• Inspect components:
• Inspect cabinets and compare them to paperwork in order to determine if unit is to be broken down to individual components.

• Separate recyclable materials and batteries for disposal.
• Testing of Materials:
• Performing in-house testing of components or materials in accordance with appropriate procedures.
• Provide completed documentation for tested components or materials
• Labeling and/or tagging components or materials as required.
• Wrapping and packing said components or materials as required.
• Maintain confidential and secret inventory of drawings and change documents.

Position Requirements:

• Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Position is located in Keyport, WA.

Compensation: $26.11 H&W $5.09
