Job Description
A current Top Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level Security Clearance is required.
Summary:
• Develop and deploy cloud and edge infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automate deployment processes and script/program using Python, Bash, and Go.
• Integrate big data solutions including Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, NiFi, and Elasticsearch within an Agile development framework.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and Bachelors in related field; or 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Total Compensation: $261k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (especially EKS) and non-cloud edge equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure the monitoring, reliability, and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Script and program in terminal-based Linux environments using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications and big data tools into the infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems to maintain high availability.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor for engineering teams while guiding hands-on execution.
