You will be the Sr. Quality Engineer, Advanced Programs for the Advanced Programs Special Programs team. Our team is responsible for delivering advanced program solutions with uncompromising quality.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sr. Quality Engineer, Advanced Programs you will be a part of shaping and safeguarding the quality of our products and processes in a dynamic development environment.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Developing and reviewing quality standards, processes, methods, work instructions, and procedures for manufactured and procured productsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are implemented and metIdentifying, trending, and resolving non-conformances in a timely mannerDriving corrective-action initiatives with suppliers and internal stakeholdersMentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative, data-driven culture

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline, with 5 years or more of professional experience, 4 years professional experience with a related Master's degree, or equivalent combined education/experience

- Must have an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

- Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation

-Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products

-Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts

- Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material

Desired Skills

- Root Cause & corrective action implementation experience including Failure Review Board chair or co-chair

-Experience working with multiple levels of Government customers and stakeholders

-Experience with MRA/Readiness Reviews

-Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products

- Effective communication skills including written, oral and listening and technical writing

-Demonstrated presentation skills

-A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

-Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

-Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements

-Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)

-Ability to travel

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
