Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Application Support Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and performance of enterprise infrastructure and application environments supporting mission-critical systems and services.

This role will oversee 24/7/365 Enterprise Operations Center (EOC), Tier II, and Tier III support across infrastructure and applications, including databases, enterprise applications, network services, servers, storage, and cloud-hosted workloads.

The Infrastructure & Application Support Manager will lead geographically distributed technical teams responsible for infrastructure operations, systems administration, database administration, network operations, and application support. This individual will ensure environments consistently meet established service levels, availability requirements, security standards, and operational performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee 24/7/365 EOC, Tier II, and Tier III operational support for enterprise infrastructure and applications.
Manage geographically distributed teams supporting systems administration, database administration, network operations, and application support.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, availability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure and application environments.
Support infrastructure and applications across domestic data centers, passport centers, visa processing centers, and overseas locations.
Ensure systems and services meet established SLAs, availability requirements, and operational performance objectives.
Coordinate operational readiness and sustainment of converged infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, databases, networks, and cloud-hosted workloads.
Partner with enterprise engineering and architecture teams to support infrastructure deployments, upgrades, integrations, and operational readiness.
Oversee enterprise database operations, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise network operations, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and firewall environments.
Support Windows and Linux enterprise systems in production environments.
Manage data center infrastructure, including server, storage, and network technologies.
Ensure effective ITSM processes are followed across incident, problem, change, and release management.
Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions.
Coordinate major incidents, operational escalations, and cross-functional technical issues.
Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, runbooks, and support processes.
Ensure infrastructure and application operations maintain appropriate security, compliance, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
Current ITIL 4 or ITIL 5 Foundation certification, or equivalent ITSM foundation-level certification.
7+ years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure, systems, database, network, and application operations in a geographically distributed environment of similar size, scope, and complexity.
5+ years of experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database administration, support, and performance management in an enterprise environment.
5+ years of experience managing enterprise network operations, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and firewall administration.
Current Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience supporting Windows and Linux enterprise systems in a production environment.
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center operations, including server, storage, and network infrastructure.
Experience with technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, Dell EMC, or equivalent enterprise infrastructure platforms.
CompTIA Network+ certification.
5+ years of experience supporting ITSM-based operational environments.
Strong experience with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
Experience leading large, geographically distributed technical teams.
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
