The Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations and compliance for Civil Engineer (CE) maintenance activities under the AFCAP V contract. This role provides supervisory and administrative support to ensure mission-critical facility systems including HVAC, fire suppression, water treatment, and building automation are maintained in accordance with Air Force CE standards, DoD requirements, and contractual obligations. The Assistant Site Manager acts as a deputy leader, ensuring continuity of operations, quality assurance, and effective communication with government stakeholders and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in directing and supervising site personnel and subcontractors.
• Oversee contract operations in the absence of the Site Manager with full delegated authority.
• Provide daily oversight to craft leads and technicians as assigned.
• Help ensure all work is executed in accordance with PWS requirements, Air Force standards, and AFCAP contract obligations.
• Interact with base CE personnel, tenants, and CORs to resolve issues and coordinate maintenance requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the ACO, COR, and Government personnel in the Site Manager's absence, with the ability to meet on-site within 4 hours as required.
• Provide regular updates on site activities to Task Order Manager, Program Manager, and Government representatives as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Must be able to receive and maintain a valid visa14 or 18 for Kuwait.
• Must have a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. Driver's License.
• Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
• Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense training. Training includes the successful fit testing of DoD provided protective gear.

Experience:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities operations,maintenance, or military contracting.

Skills :

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple functional responsibilities simultaneously.
• Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements
• Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
