Job Description
The Senior Test Management Support will manage and support new and ongoing projects. He or She shall have mastery of and experience with the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, test and evaluation, manning, best practices, and lessons learned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and implement a test strategy for all programs that is aligned with the portfolio test strategy.
• Manage and execute all program test activities, including the planning, execution, and reporting of test projects, on behalf of the program office.
• Update and manage all program office test documentation, including test plans, test priorities, test schedules, test memorandums, and test reports.
• Assist in coordinating test planning working groups, logistical requirements, program office delegations, technical interchanges, and day-to-day interactions between the program office and supporting test, intelligence, and technology organizations.
• Identify and document test infrastructure requirements on behalf of the chief of test. Provide test infrastructure recommendations to the chief of test to ensure the optimal test resources are available to complete program test and evaluation.
• Apply systems engineering, test engineering, and test operations expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of test engineering as it applies to highly technical program office efforts.
• Apply principles of digital transformation and model-based systems engineering to verification and validation activities.
• Support the program director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.
• Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff
Minimum Requirements:
• MS/MA or higher in a STEM discipline. In lieu of a MS/MA or higher in a STEM discipline, a BS/BA in a STEM discipline and a MS/MA or higher or an equivalent professional degree in any discipline. In lieu of an MS/MA or higher or an equivalent professional degree, a BS/BA in a STEM discipline and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor.
• The minimum experience requirement for personnel in the Senior labor category is ten (10) years of relevant work experience with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor. Test management experience is highly desired.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an SAP environment within the last eight (8) years.
• 25% Travel to support program activities
