Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Program Manager to support compliance, reliability, and audit readiness initiatives for a leading technology organization. The Program Manager role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in FedRAMP compliance, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), audit tracking, and Jira-based project management processes.
Responsibilities of the Program Manager:
• Lead and coordinate FedRAMP compliance efforts across technical and operational teams.
• Track, manage, and report on audit findings, remediation activities, and compliance milestones.
• Partner with SRE, security, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Utilize Jira to manage workstreams, monitor project progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, status reports, and risk registers.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive accountability for audit and compliance deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and compliance readiness.
Qualifications of the Program Manager:
• Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
• 5+ years of program management experience within technology, cloud, or regulated environments.
• Strong background supporting FedRAMP compliance initiatives and audit activities.
• Experience working closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams and cloud-based operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira for ticket management, workflow tracking, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and compliance deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field preferred.
Compensation for the Program Manager includes:
• Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
• Fully remote opportunity with preference for candidates located on the East Coast, ideally in the Raleigh, NC area
