Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a Senior Consultant to support Tria's Military and Veteran Health portfolio and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Community Care (VCC) Program. This client-facing role will lead complex healthcare operations and transformation workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop high-quality products and contract deliverables that help improve Veterans' access to timely, coordinated community care. The Senior Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to client and Tria leadership, applying project management, process improvement, data analysis, and executive communication skills to solve operational challenges, manage risk, and advance program priorities.

The Senior Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to client and Tria leadership, applying project management, process improvement, data analysis, and executive communication skills to solve operational challenges, manage risk, and advance program priorities.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of consulting, program/project management, or healthcare operations experience, including leadership of complex workstreams in a federal or highly regulated environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations in one or more areas such as referrals and authorizations, care coordination, provider network operations, claims/payment, utilization management, or clinical integration.
- Proven ability to develop and manage work plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and contract deliverables.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to produce decision-ready products under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint; ability to analyze data and communicate actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting VA, VHA, the Office of Integrated Veteran Care, the Veteran Community Care Program, Community Care Network operations, or another federal health program.
- Familiarity with Community Care workflows and technologies such as HSRM, EHR/Oracle Health, Power BI, Power Platform, or related referral, authorization, care coordination, and reporting tools.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, CSM, or comparable professional certification.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Experience with change management, training, communications, executive governance, implementation readiness, or healthcare payer/provider operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior client-facing advisor to Tria and VA/VHA stakeholders, translating Veteran Community Care priorities into clear work plans, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead complex workstreams across Community Care operations, including referral and authorization, care coordination, provider network management, claims/payment, clinical integration, and implementation readiness.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items; provide concise status reporting and timely escalation.
- Conduct current-state and future-state assessments, process mapping, requirements analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance improvement to recommend practical, sustainable solutions.
- Produce executive briefings, governance materials, standard operating procedures, playbooks, dashboards, decision papers, and contract deliverables with high quality and on-time completion.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, governance forums, and working sessions across federal leaders, clinicians, business owners, technical teams, field stakeholders, and contractor partners.
- Lead and mentor consultants; assign work, review deliverables, maintain quality standards, and promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support Tria program and account leadership with resource planning, quality and risk management, performance reporting, client relationship management, and growth activities while safeguarding sensitive Veteran, PII, and PHI data.
