Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Power BI Technical Lead to join our team in Toronto, ON. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate and optimize data from various sources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of work history in Canada
• Eligibility for Pro-B Security Clearance
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions
• Strong understanding of data models, semantic layers, and DAX standards

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server, Azure, Dataverse, APIs
• Experience in conducting code reviews and mentoring developers
• Knowledge of solution governance and security requirements

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power BI solutions
• Define data models, semantic layers, and visualization best practices
• Collaborate with data engineering teams for data integration and optimization
• Conduct code reviews and establish development standards
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
