Blu Omega is seeking a Palantir Engineer to support a federal program focused on the Emerging Infections Program (EIP) within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, implementing scalable data solutions, and configuring interactive dashboards. The position requires experience supporting Palantir Foundry applications, including Code Repository, Ontology Manager, and Workshop, within a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Implement scalable data solutions within Palantir Foundry, addressing complex business logic
- Develop, test, and maintain reusable code using Foundry's code repositories
- Create custom functions and transformation logic for large datasets
- Configure and optimize dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
- Participate actively in agile development processes and track work using Jira
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a professional environment
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including Code Repository, Ontology Manager, and Workshop
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark coding
- Knowledge of fundamental programming principles and web development
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with R, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT
- Experience working in a public health environment
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience leveraging Palantir AIP for AI workflows and LLM integration
- Palantir Foundry certifications (e.g., Data Engineer, Developer)
Compensation
Salary Range:
$135,000.00 - $165,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
