Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. This role requires deep expertise in information security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Provide technical guidance and support for security controls implementation
• Lead security training and awareness programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other regulatory requirements
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security with demonstrated expertise in IA practices
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, and other relevant standards
• Strong understanding of cloud security, cyber threat intelligence, and secure software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD IA policies and procedures
• Knowledge of special program access requirements
• Background in federal government contracting environments
