Logistics Analyst

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst II to join our vehicle sustainment team in Djibouti, Africa . The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist more senior positions and perform functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions supporting logistics efforts.

• Analy ze and coordinate logistical functions.

• Record, maintain and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.

• Packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items and equipment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of qualified logistical experience and a High School diploma .

• For U.S. Army support, Supply personnel shall have a minimum of one year experience in the use of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), GCSS-A or DOD equivalent to ensure military supply system proficiency and managing inventory and maintenance records without requiring basic software training.

• Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.

• Up to 25% Travel Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Defense Logistics Software: 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated government logistics systems such as ELMS (Enterprise Logistics Management System), GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System - Army), or CMPro (Configuration Management Professional).

• Familiarity with Mantech logistical systems is preferred. IE LogMASTRE

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position. Also, must be able to obtain and maintain active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

• Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

• Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
