SENIOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: Hill AFB, UT
Salary Range : $115,000 -$125,000 annually*

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Senior Network Administrator to directly support the Training Division (AFLCMC/WNR) at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
The WNR Division serves as the Air Force's technical, acquisition, and sustainment authority, delivering comprehensive and mission-critical support to the warfighter. The division supports a broad portfolio of Air Force systems including Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, Air Combat Training, Command and Control Systems, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, and Combat Survivor Evader Locator systems.
This role specifically supports the Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC) program within AFLCMC/WNR. LMOC enables real-time weapon modeling and automated data delivery across live training and debriefing environments, enhancing training value, density, and fidelity across mission planning, execution, reconstruction, and review.
Preferred Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Active US security clearance
Education: Masters or Bachelors Degree in related field with at least 10 years of experience in technical discipline, including 5 years in DoD.
Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification

Technical Skills
- Network administration (LAN/WAN, classified and unclassified systems)
- VMware server management
- DIACAP and RMF compliance
- Secure communications infrastructure
- Help desk operations and troubleshooting
- Cabling and hardware installation
- Familiarity with Government acquisition and logistics systems
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Administer and maintain LAN and WAN systems, including network security across classified and unclassified environments
- Provide secure communication venues for product teams to discuss sensitive requirements and designs
- Support assessment, development, and sustainment of telecommunications infrastructure including phones, videoconferencing, and messaging systems
- Assist with development of web-based IT equipment management systems and custom Government software applications
- Perform VMware server administration, including virtualization and high-availability environments
- Provide help desk support, managing IT trouble tickets and user access to Government systems such as ABSS, CPARs, and CAS
- Install and maintain communications cabling including CAT5 and fiber infrastructure
- Develop documentation and artifacts required for DIACAP and RMF certification of classified and unclassified networks
- Conduct system security reviews of new designs and software to identify risks and vulnerabilities
- Integrate new technologies and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements
- Analyze system usage, troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues, and implement upgrades to improve reliability
- Support Air Force network interfaces to ensure availability and integrity of mission-critical systems
