NSC Staffing has immediate opportunities for Chemical Operators in Southeast Cleveland, OH!
Pay - $20-21/hr DOE with Maintenance experience you can make $24/hr
Shift - Monday - Friday
Hours - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location - Southeast Cleveland
Responsibilities/ Duties:
• Tends machines that grind and mix ingredients
• Dumps or pours specified quantities of ingredients into blend tank and starts machine to mix ingredients, according to manufacturing instructions.
• Obtain samples of batches for Quality Control Lab testing
• Assist in all production areas as needed, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of raw materials
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Responsible for safe operation of forklift and all material handling equipment within the work area
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment
• Ability and willingness to work as a team to solve problems, develop procedures, suggest improvements
• Participate in additional duties as required by leadership.
Qualifications:
• Ability to read and follow formulas, procedures and equipment instructions.
• Good math skills to problem solve compounding formulas
• Good computer skills
• Accurate and legible recordkeeping skills.
• Good mechanical ability and knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with production team and excellent cooperation with co-workers and managers.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
