Machinist/Programmer (6080)

Ghostrock, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking aMachinist/Programmer to join our team in Panama City, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manufacture parts from castings, forgings, and other raw stocks made of various metallic and non-metallic materials.
  
• Operate conventional and/or CNC machine tools and perform machining operations including but not limited to boring, drilling, planning, milling, turning, cutting, engraving, sawing and grinding.
  
• Interpret technical drawings and models. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Comply with applicable industry and military standards, specifications and technical instructions.
  
• Apply knowledge of materials, machining processes and best practices in fabrication process planning.
  
• Develop and implement work setups that maximize product quality.
  
• Develop tool path programs using applicable CAM software for 5-axis CNC machines and demonstrate advanced knowledge of CNC programming language codes.
  
• Develop CNC programs that optimize tool selection and engagement, cutting speeds and feed rates while reducing setups and cycle times.
  
• Perform precision handwork to fit, finish, and assemble machined parts and equipment. Use precision measuring devices and determine what equipment is necessary to complete the task.
  

Position Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.
  
• 6 years of experience as a Machinist on conventional and CNC machines
  
  

This position is located in Panama City, FL.

Hourly wage is $35.00 - 38.00 based on experience.
