Overview
VTG is seeking a full-time Cleared Telecommunications Infrastructure Technician to support Navy/NMCI network infrastructure work across the National Capital Region, with possible travel up to 20%. This is a hands-on field role focused primarily on copper and fiber telecommunications infrastructure. The technician will install, terminate, label, dress, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling in IDF/MDF and other communications environments. Work may also include patch panels, wire managers, cable conveyance, cabinet installation, UPS/PDU installation, and authorized basic power work from existing panels to cabinets, including breaker and receptacle installation.

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $34.31/hr which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

- Install and support patch panels, wire managers, cable conveyance, and cabinets
- Perform authorized basic power work from existing panels to cabinets, including breaker and receptacle installation
- Install UPS units and PDUs in communications cabinets
- Use copper and fiber test equipment, such as Fluke or equivalent
- Maintain clean, organized, and standards-based cabling work
- Support IDF/MDF and other communications-space buildouts
- Work independently at government customer sites and meet installation schedules
- Provide basic field updates, test results, labeling information, and closeout documentation as required
- Travel up to 20% and support overtime as mission needs require
