Location: Patuxent River, MD (5 days onsite)
Clearance Required: Active Secret
Rate: Direct Hire $140k (not sure if it’s flexible)

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) and communication systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of PLEO Comms systems.
You’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve PLEO Comms performance of a variety of platforms. Our team supports the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, well versed in PLEO Comms systems to help us design and develop future technologies within the PLEO Comms discipline.
On our team, you’ll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to develop and integrate those upgrades to improve the warfighters' competitive edge. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. This is a chance to use your electrical engineering skills while gaining experience in the PLEO Comms discipline to sharpen your skills while doing meaningful work.

Qualifications
Experience in radar systems
Knowledge of systems integration challenges
Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with modern Navy PLEO Comms systems
Experience with the SETR process
Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
Ability to analyze PLEO Comms designs and provide technical inputs improve performance and integration ease
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
