What You Will Do:
Partner with product owners, architects, developers, and cloud engineers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle for application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Analyze business, functional, technical, and cloud architecture requirements to develop comprehensive quality engineering strategies and test approaches.
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks supporting web applications, APIs, microservices, cloud-native solutions, and data integration platforms.
Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing across modernized application environments.
Support enterprise application modernization efforts, including migration of legacy Oracle-based applications and databases to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
Validate data migration, data conversion, ETL processes, API integrations, and system interoperability throughout modernization initiatives.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows to enable continuous testing, rapid feedback, and high-quality software releases.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to define acceptance criteria, ensure testability of requirements, and establish quality gates throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, test data, test harnesses, and reusable testing assets to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Identify, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis of defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
Utilize modern testing and AI-enabled quality engineering tools to improve test coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles.
Establish quality metrics, automation KPIs, and reporting dashboards to measure software quality, release readiness, and modernization success.
Participate in architecture, design, and sprint reviews to ensure applications are scalable, secure, accessible, and aligned with cloud modernization objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $75,200.00-$112,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- FIVE (5) years of experience supporting software quality assurance, quality engineering, test automation, or application modernization initiatives.
- THREE (3) years of experience developing automated testing solutions using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working on full software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automated test coverage for enterprise applications.
- Experience testing APIs, web services, integrations, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Experience validating data migration, conversion, and integration efforts associated with application modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, continuous testing, and modern software delivery practices.
- Proven experience performing root cause analysis and partnering with developers to identify and resolve complex defects.
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test cases, and quality documentation.
- Strong understanding of SQL, database testing, and data validation methodologies.
- Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, and modern work management platforms.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer engagement, time management, and prioritization skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience supporting Oracle Forms, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP, Oracle databases, or other legacy Oracle environments.
- Experience supporting application modernization or cloud migration initiatives from Oracle-based platforms to AWS or Azure.
- Experience testing cloud-native applications utilizing containers, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, and managed cloud services.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure DevOps, AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, and Application Insights.
- Experience validating large-scale data migrations, data lakes, analytics platforms, Databricks, Snowflake, or cloud data warehouse solutions.
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, accessibility testing, and automated compliance validation.
- Section 508 Trusted Tester Certification.
- ISTQB, AWS, Azure, SAFe, Scrum, or DevSecOps certifications.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted test automation and intelligent quality engineering solutions.
