Work You'll Do

As a Project - Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the ServiceNow and Cloud Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
  • Administer and optimize databases that support a self-hosted ServiceNow environment hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Perform database backup, recovery, patching, tuning, and maintenance activities to support performance, reliability, and availability
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve database-related incidents affecting platform operations
  • Manage AWS database resources and implement controls that support security, compliance, and data integrity requirements
  • Automate routine administration tasks, maintain technical documentation, and provide on-call support for critical issues

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
  • 3+ years of experience supporting self-hosted ServiceNow environments
  • 3+ years of experience administering databases in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
  • 3+ years of experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning
  • 3+ years of experience supporting platform upgrades, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • 3+ years of experience implementing database security controls, access management, and audit support
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA


For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
