Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Remote Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support a federal client by developing and enhancing custom business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint. The Power Platform Developer will build scalable applications, automate business processes, integrate enterprise data sources, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile development environment. This position requires a Top Secret Clearance!

Responsibilities of the Microsoft Power Platform Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
- Develop and deploy custom model-driven Power Apps, including plugins, workflows, cloud flows, and API integrations
- Build and customize Canvas Apps, including data connections and user interfaces
- Develop and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and custom pages
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services
- Configure connectors and integrate Power Platform applications with a variety of enterprise data sources
- Automate business processes using Power Automate
- Develop reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
- Develop and maintain user stories and product backlog items within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Apply user-centered design principles and accessibility standards, including Section 508 requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, workflows, and business processes
- Support application troubleshooting, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities
- Provide technical guidance and support to government stakeholders and end users
Qualifications for the Microsoft Power Platform Developer:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying custom model-driven Power Apps
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI
- Experience developing Power Apps plugins, workflows, cloud flows, and API integrations using the Power Platform SDK
- Strong experience with Canvas Apps, including customization and data connections
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, including site administration, lists, libraries, permissions, and page design
- Experience integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with SharePoint and other enterprise data sources
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform connectors
- Understanding of web application design and user-centered design principles
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements, including Section 508
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and government stakeholders
- Active DHS clearance or Top Secret DoD clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs
- Experience developing custom integrations
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience supporting federal enterprise programs
- Familiarity with enterprise governance, security, and compliance requirements
Compensation for the Microsoft Power Platform Developer:
- Salary: $145,000 - $155,000
